Exercise session data is retained locally on your device until you choose to delete it through the app's session management features. The app maintains a maximum of 1000 sessions to prevent excessive storage usage.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Exertime does not automatically share, sell, or disclose your data to third parties. Your data remains under your control:

  • No Automatic Sharing: We do not automatically transmit your data to external servers
  • User-Initiated Export: You can export session data to CSV format, which you can then share with healthcare providers or others at your discretion

Exertime is designed as an tool for establishing a consistent exercise routine. While the app collects exercise session data, please note:

  • Exercise session data stored locally is not considered protected health information (PHI) under HIPAA when stored solely on your device
  • When you export and share data with healthcare providers, that sharing is initiated by you
  • We recommend consulting with your healthcare provider about appropriate data sharing practices

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Access: You can view all stored exercise session data through the app's session history feature
  • Deletion: You can delete individual sessions or all sessions through the app's session management features
  • Export: You can export your session data to CSV format at any time
  • App Uninstallation: Uninstalling the app will remove all locally stored data

Exertime is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
